Weight Problems - a
Scourge in our Lives
Whether you are overweight (the majority) or
underweight, having a weight issue brings much stress into our
lives.
The popular image of the 'jolly fat person' belies the
reality of the suffering and hurt that this person feels deep
inside.
Being overweight in particular, can effect multiple areas of
our lives including love and relationships, employment, self
image and even travel arrangements (think airplane seating), to
name a few. There are also serious health implications for the
overweight person.
As always, the starting point to reversing this situation is
to fully recognise and acknowledge the fact that you hava a
weight problem. 'I am X pounds overweight and I wish to be Y
pounds total'.
